Happy Sunday and Merry Christmas Eve. 🙂
It doesn’t seem like Christmas season. This is likely partly due to the lack of snow. I had forgotten we were completely overtaken by the white stuff last year. That storm was a doozy!
Fast forward to this year and there isn’t a flake of snow in sight. Rain is predicted today and tomorrow. We would have a white Christmas if it weren’t so unseasonably warm.
Honestly, I don’t mind the mild temperatures as it shortens winter. In years past when it was cold and snowy starting in November the winter season felt unending.
Lasagna has been on my mind for this holiday weekend for a while. I would make it tonight except it is Vikings game day, which means pizza. So the lasagna was last night. Christmas I am going to make some cinnamon rolls for part of our breakfast and then probably go out for a poke bowl for lunch. Dinner will be baked chicken, Brussels sprouts, and potatoes. Simple and classic.
Check out these adorable little marshmallows perfect for a festive mug of hot chocolate!
I watch A Christmas Carol in some version every year. I completely agree the 1984 version with George C Scott is the absolute best. It was on this past weekend when I made another batch of holiday treats.
Holiday lights and a Taylor Swift medley. Then I had to watch this classic with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra.
Have a lovely holiday weekend.
