Happy Sunday!
Is there anything more beautiful than a perfect red rose? I think not.
This particular flower was made even more special for me when I learned it was from the florist who did our wedding flowers all those years ago! My bridal bouquet filled with exquisite red roses is one of my favorite memories from that special day.
I’m not a mother, but it doesn’t mean I don’t scroll through all the breakfast/brunch ideas this time of year. My favorite recipes are hearty, savory, and make enough for leftovers.
This casserole checks all the boxes for a terrific weekend breakfast.
We saw this Mallard couple waddling through our lawn the other night. The female duck was leading the way with her guy trotting behind. Baby ducklings and goslings are starting to appear at the local parks and ponds. So sweet!
What caught my eye this week:
Good news on vaccine effectiveness. I was also happy to see news of Broadway reopening. Before the pandemic, we had a trip planned to celebrate an anniversary with a trip to NYC. Once the city is completed up and running I hope to make that dream a reality!
I’m getting back into outdoor running since the weather is warming up. Keeping it light and enjoyable.
A tip to make social media more enjoyable.
Ideas to help mother earth.
Being cat parents we are pretty careful with candles. Friday night is time to burn candles at the dining room table over a leisurely dinner. These candles are incredible!
Wholesome things are in for 2021. I agree!
I love the comfort of a familiar favorite TV show in the background as I am cooking or on the computer. Friends and that iconic fountain scene.
Bailey looks deep in thought, or maybe ready for another nap. 🙂
Have a lovely weekend!
