Happy weekend.
I have tacos on the menu, chicken fajitas would also be the perfect dinner on Monday. First, of course, it’s Cinco de Mayo. But also, it’s Monday. We want quick, easy, and delicious. Boxes checked.
Rooting for your favorite team can be good for your mental health. I need to remember that when the Vikings are driving me crazy! Cheering for Minnesota sports teams isn’t for the faint of heart.
The Timberwolves defied the experts and beat the higher-seed Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA playoffs! They currently await their next opponent. The team seems to have peaked at the exact right time.

Last week, I mentioned the free day at Minnesota state parks. Hubby and I took advantage and had great luck seeing the bison. They were every close to the trail and walked right beside the vehicle.
This goose and gander picked a bad spot to hatch their batch of goslings. Happily, people were kind and transported them to more appropriate digs.
The Bronx Zoo in New York is hand-feeding a baby vulture using a hand puppet. They don’t want the chick to become used to people. It might be just me, but I think he’s adorable. 🙂
Tomorrow is another day. So beautifully written. I can relate to feeling different for choosing a child-free life.

I was in the kitchen last weekend, and suddenly, Bella was in the window of the breakfast nook. She had a major case of the zoomies, racing all over the house. I love that our 15-year-old cats are still so active.
Have a lovely weekend.
