Happy weekend.
Thanksgiving dinner was a success! The turkey was tender and juicy. A few years ago, we had a mishap wth the temperature probe not reading correctly. It resulted in the turkey, and therefore, the side dishes, being way overdone. So frustrating.
This year, the meat thermometer performed perfectly. The mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, and sweet potato casserole were all excellent. My biscuits were an experiment; I was happy with them. I am a big fan of the cranberry apple sauce.
We can’t forget the pumpkin pie. Always the pumpkin pie. 😉
This salad has my name on it. I don’t find traditional Thanksgiving sides at all sad, but this salad would be a welcome addition.
I saw this Apple commercial multiple times while watching many hours of football on Thanksgiving. The commercial was filmed on an iPhone 17 Pro. Very cute.
The Galápagos turtles were one of my favorites at our visits to the San Diego zoo. One of their oldest residents recently died after a very long life.
As a left-handed girl, I might give this movie on Netflix a try.
Last week, I mentioned the cats had unearthed a favorite toy. At the time of writing, the toy mouse was lost again, but it has since been found.
I was trying to get a photo, or even a video, of the girls playing with the toy. Once I had my phone, they were just staring it down, daring it to move. Ha! 🙂
