Happy Sunday.
This week marks the start of the holiday season. I am a big believer in pulling what gives you joy this time of year. A traditional Thanksgiving dinner is one of my joys. For me, that also means being able to put aside the traditions I find an unnecessary chore. It’s very freeing.
Hubby and I both enjoy overnight oats as our weekday breakfast. For the longest time, we both used plastic containers. We finally upgraded to glass mason jars with lids. Once the weather turned colder, we added a jar sleeve to keep our hands warm. Such a simple thing, but it upgraded my morning.
The teaser trailer for The Devil Wears Prada 2. Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci all reprise their roles in the sequel. I have seen the original more times than I can count! I’m eager for the sequel.
Venting doesn’t work. Well, damn, I am a big believer in venting! It feels good at the time, but it certainly doesn’t calm me down.
The cats had some unexpected fun when a long-lost toy was found under the furnace when hubby was doing some maintenance. Just as soon as it appeared, it was gone again. No doubt under a piece of furniture. 😉
