Happy weekend.
I used Valentine’s Day as a nice excuse to make turkey meatball spaghetti and open a bottle of wine for date night.
I was happy to see the Seahawks win another championship. Seattle is a great city. The music was fantastic, especially Green Day. I thought the halftime show was fun. The wedding was actually real!
We have been watching tons of Olympic coverage. Figure skating is my favorite. I was watching a recap of the metal competition in the Ice Dancing as I wrote this. I raced through this documentary on three of the couples competing for Gold. They make these intricate routines look so effortless.
Curling is still a mystery to me, but I think Hubby has a handle on the rules.
All of the skiing and snowboarding is just incredible.

This past week, we bought a small feeder for the deck. We had been feeding the squirrels in the backyard at the edge of the ravine. The squirrels and birds found the feeder on the deck within hours. Bailey was entranced by watching squirrels. Hubby was hoping she wouldn’t forget to eat! 😉
We are seeing a nice variety of birds enjoying the food. Cardinals, juncos, chickadees, and a nuthatch have all been observed in the feeder. The plan is to get some bird-oriented food eventually.
The weather feels spring-like, enjoy it while it lasts! Have a lovely weekend.
