Happy Sunday.
Last weekend we attended a matinée of the play, Clue. The play is based on the movie, which was based on the board game. It was a lot of fun.
After the play, we headed out for dinner. Going straight from a matinée performance to the restaurant meant an early dinner. We typically eat pretty early. I honestly prefer to eat around 5 or 5:30 PM. We go to bed early, and it’s nice to have time to let my meal settle.
It worked well as we were able to get a great table at a popular little pizza place. We so rarely eat pizza at a restaurant. It can be a challenge to come up with a pizza to share as he eats red meat and I don’t. Plus, we just love our homemade pizza. I will have to say, this white chicken pizza was great!
Apparently, ginger ale is a popular choice while on a flight. I have always been partial to a glass of wine, and, of course, water.
Maybe it’s different in areas without a harsh winter, but I have always thought malls make a lot of sense in Minnesota.
A Boomer’s phone will not be silenced. I don’t know about every Boomer out there, but my iPhone has been on silent for over a decade. I saw a meme recently about how we went from downloading ringtones to silencing our phones completely. Agreed!
Jon Stewart did a touching tribute to his dog on The Daily Show. Hubby told me about it and I had to see it for myself. Losing a pet is the worst. Bella and Bailey are getting older, and I am trying to cherish them daily.
Have an awesome weekend. Enjoy this beautiful weather! 🙂
