Happy Sunday.
Happy gorgeous weekend, finally! I am writing this on Saturday trying to talk myself into doing some shopping at a garden center. Now, don’t get me wrong, I love garden center shopping. But I know full well the places will be crazy-busy with everyone else taking advantage of these beautiful spring days.
My hope is to get at least a start at veggies and herbs this weekend.
We did get out today and enjoy the weather today. After lunch and an ice cream cone, we did the sculpture walk. New pieces get installed every year around this time.
Needless to say, I really liked this one! The sculpture is titled Viktor, as in Viktor the Viking. 🙂
I finally got my hands on some rhubarb this week thanks to a coworker’s bountiful patch. Strawberry and rhubarb is the best combination and I think I will make a small version of this pie later today.
What caught my eye this week
We know about triggers, but I love the idea of glimmers. Sometimes, it really is the little things.
When did we get so bad at typing? Is autocorrect to blame? I don’t know that my typing has gotten worse, but it certainly hasn’t gotten better over the years.
I have seen The Devil Wears Prada at least half a dozen times. Now I don’t have to wonder what the rest of Miranda Priestly’s townhouse looks like.
Might be my imagination, but I swear I have seen half a dozen recipes for salmon tacos this past week. They all look amazing, including this one. Salmon is a hard no for hubby, so I would be on my own.
12 things to remember when you are overwhelmed. This link is worth sharing just for number 1.
Mid entertainment. Good, but not great TV and movies that are easy and watchable.
Have a lovely weekend.
