Happy weekend.
My plants are doing well. The basil is going wild, in the best possible way. My tomato plants are healthy, but some creature has been stealing, and presumably eating, green tomatoes! A need for water is a possible reason, but we’ve gotten plenty of rain to this point; that doesn’t make sense. I have any number of suspects. Squirrels, of course, but it also could be raccoons or deer. I am grateful that whoever decided to help themselves didn’t destroy the plants. I currently have green fruit on all the plants again, and I really hope I don’t need to fence the area to get some vine-ripened tomatoes this year.
I was reading through the Emmy nominations. So much good TV. I have to think The Pitt will win another Best Drama award, and it’s well deserved. I also really liked A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. I can’t pick a favorite in the comedy series category.
I am looking forward to watching The Five Star Weekend, based on a book I really enjoyed. Jennifer Garner should be great as the lead character.
If you like creepy, suspenseful TV, watch Cape Fear on Apple TV. Bella was sitting with me during a particularly intense scene, and I think it even scared her!
Melanoma is the most serious and aggressive skin cancer, and cases are rising. Even those of us who use sunscreen often aren’t using it properly. Fortunately, skin cancer is highly treatable when caught early.
It’s my face, and I’ll frown if I want to. Absolutely! Some things deserve a good case of RBF with no outside opinions needed.
