I agree with Joanna, this is a strange time to write a blog. Earlier this week, I tried to put into words the emotions I was feeling about the event in my state. I was finding it impossible to stay silent.
For all the talk lately of avoiding doomscrolling, this has been a hard time to put down my devices. It has been heartwarming to see so many whom I admire be as saddened and outraged as I am.
I was slightly hopeful for some change in the wake of yet another senseless death, but I have my doubts that anything is happening soon.
I feel like a lot of people don’t even know what an RSS reeder is. Hubby introduced them to me as an easy way to keep up with blog posts and news sites. I keep up with a lot of food blogs, and I can’t imagine any other way I would keep up with them. Reeder is a good one.
The underrated job of letting things be good enough. Not everything has to be perfect.

We have suspected for a while that Bailey’s hearing wasn’t great. She is a very vocal girl, and her meows have gotten louder and louder. She is probably trying to hear herself. Our first cat, Velvet, was also quite deaf when she was older. Bailey seems to be almost entirely deaf now, but she sure has her voice!
Have a peaceful weekend.
