I’ve lived in Minnesota all my life.
Other than the cold in the winter and the bugs in the summer, there really isn’t a lot to dislike. Minnesota sits at the top and center of the United States and minds its own business. People make jokes about the cold and the fact that our sports teams, for the most part, cannot seem to win championships.
Minnesota has been in the news a lot this month for the worst reasons. I touched on it earlier this month.
Over the weekend, an ICU nurse who worked at the VA was murdered while trying to prevent a woman from being pepper-sprayed. Much like earlier this month, no one has to take anyone’s word for what happened. It was all caught on camera at multiple angles. The footage was captured by people brave enough to film these atrocities instead of running. The excuse for the murder of Alex Pretti was his concealed carry gun, for which he had a permit. The 2nd Amendment/gun rights crowd should be losing their shit right now. But silence, as always.
You will not convince me that this has anything to do with “dangerous illegals” and making Minnesota safe. Dragging an old man out in January in no shirt and crocs and detaining a five-year-old with a Spiderman backpack and a bunny ear hat isn’t making anyone feel safe. This is about making a functioning, blue state suffer.
