Hubby does meat and veggies. I do all veggies and a whole wheat crust.
My current favorite things include pizza on Sunday, the Minnesota Vikings, the Minnesota Lynx, and pumpkin spice peanut butter, in no particular order.
There isn’t a thing not to love about homemade pizza. The Vikings are undefeated. Today’s game against the Detroit Lions will be yet another tough test. Then a quick turnaround to play the Rams on Thursday night in Los Angeles.
The Lynx play a series-deciding game 5 against the New York Liberty tonight for the championship. No matter what happens it has been a fantastic season. The WNBA has come a long way this season.
Finally, the pumpkin spice peanut butter. The stores are full of pumpkin spice everything, and I am happy to try a lot of it. I have been putting a small amount of the pumpkin spice peanut butter in my overnight oats and looking for other ways to incorporate it. Honestly, I could just eat it with a spoon!
Now I see peanut butter is having a moment. I bet that spicy Thai flavor is delicious. It makes me think of this peanut sheet pan dinner.
The remaining green tomatoes are sitting in the window to ripen. Granted, not as good as vine-ripened tomatoes, but I do think they taste better than store-bought.
It is easy to forget there are great sources of protein other than meat and dairy. I enjoy all of these wonderful veggies. Edamame is awesome in salads.
I can’t say that we have ever really done it, but the idea of dragging a suitcase through a busy, unfamiliar city gives me anxiety. I guess I am not alone.
Jimmy Carter hoped to live long enough to vote for Kamala Harris. He succeeded. 🙂
