We said goodbye to Bella on Thursday.
It was heartbreaking, but I do take some comfort in knowing that we made the best decision for her. Our goal, first and foremost, has always been to do what is in our kitties’ best interest.
She would have been 17 years old in October.
I will miss that darling girl with her sweet personality so much. She was obviously so beautiful. Her sweet temperament made her even more endearing.
She survived three bowel obstruction surgeries. I was grateful we were able to love her for so long given her medical history.
We still have her sister. Bailey is likely a little confused, but she will be fine. Bailey and Bella tolerated each other. I suspect Bailey will like being the only cat.
