Happy weekend.
I mentioned earlier this week that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. To celebrate, we had dinner at a newish local Italian restaurant. Hubby enjoyed a wonderful Tuscan pizza, and I had salmon piccata. Italian restaurants always seem like a good choice for a special night out. I can’t resist ordering salmon on any menu.
I don’t know how it is already the last weekend of June?! In about six weeks, it will be time for preseason football. It will be an interesting year for the Vikings, but then again, they all are. Being a lifelong fan of a team that has never won it all…it’s emotional. But the team has still brought me a lot of joy. That said, one championship in my lifetime is all I need. 🙂
I completed my Gilmore Girls rewatch a couple of months ago and, apparently, just in time. I see now it is leaving Netflix soon! But it’s also on Hulu.
We have been happy with Spotify for our music and podcast streaming platform. The folders concept is cool.
Live look at marriage. This is accurate! Nearly every morning around here involves a conversation about sleep, or the complete lack of it. That, and how we did on the NYT games. We play Wordle, Connections, and Strands.
We just finished Widow’s Bay on Apple TV+. Great cast, great story, there is humor and a mystery element. Hubby thought he figured out the mystery before it was revealed, and he was right!
