Happy weekend.
There is just something about seeing the sun on a cold winter day. I think the cats agree. I have walked outside on two separate occasions recently and thought it was nice outside. Unless you are one of those rare, hardy souls who truly love the cold, January in Minnesota is rarely referred to as nice. But the sun was shining, the wind wasn’t blowing, and it was ~well~ nice. 🙂
I recently told a friend that although winter will never be my favorite season, I can appreciate the excuse to settle into a cozy atmosphere. Turn on the salt lamp, get under a blanket, and sip something warm. The gift of winter is a lovely concept.
My weekend plans for the future will involve watching the new season of The Pitt as soon as each episode drops. Check out these 10 reasons to end up in the ER and how to avoid them.
As an early riser who is always ready for breakfast, this is good news. We generally eat dinner fairly early, so by morning, I am definitely ready to eat.
The best frozen foods at ALDI for under five dollars. Those frozen blueberries are fantastic. I keep a bag in the freezer to use in my overnight oats if I don’t have fresh berries available. The frozen shelled edamame used to be only available occasionally, but is now stocked all the time. I love them in salads.
January 21 is squirrel appreciation day. We are continuing to feed and appreciate the cuteness that is our backyard squirrels.
Have a nice weekend.
