Weekend Randoms 3/22/2025

Happy Weekend.

We noticed this lovely mosaic on the support beams under a bridge during our getaway last week. The photo doesn’t do it justice. The patterns were textured and the colors were vibrant.

The inaugural season of Unrivaled concluded on Monday with the championship game. Our favorite teams were beaten in the playoff round, but I love that the league was successful. The games were fun to watch.

StoryGraph has replaced GoodReads as my favorite way to track the book I am reading. Hubby started using it and got me started. Unlike GoodReads, the option to select Did Not Finish (DNF) is available. Life is too short to read books you are not enjoying! Since we have started using Hoopla with our public library, we have plenty of books to read. Added benefit – StoryGraph is woman-owned.

I am not a big soda drinker, but enjoy an occasional Poppi. People aren’t excited that PepsiCo purchased it.

Medical dramas to stream after watching The Pitt. I wasn’t surprised to see quite a few shows I have already watched. Lately, my Saturday morning includes catching up on The Pitt and Grey’s Anatomy.

Meghan’s new series on Netflix is cute and easy to watch. I find it unfortunate that people love to hate her for simply living her life.

45 things to do on your phone. Besides scrolling! I seem to always be behind on going through photos and emails.

Lifting heavy is the key to better exercise results. I used to strength train because I knew it was good for me, but I have come to enjoy to look forward to it.

The cats like to hang out in the basement with us while we watch TV in the evening. Bailey was snoozing on the futon looking especially cute. 🙂

There is just something so cute about a sleeping cat.

Have a great weekend.
