Happy weekend.
Football season goes so quickly. I am rooting for the Eagles tomorrow. Nothing specifically against the Chiefs, but no team needs three straight Super Bowl wins. Except for the Vikings who need to win four straight to make up for the four times they have lost the big game.
Our fantastic coach, Kevin O’Connell won Coach of the Year, and retired Vikings’ Jared Allen was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame! It’s a good weekend to be a Vikings fan. 🙂
I recently shared our new pizza dough method, and we will be using it this weekend to end pizza season, otherwise known as football season. However, I certainly don’t plan to be done with homemade pizza until this fall.
If the internet is any indication, dips will be a part of most food spreads this Sunday. I used to do snacks, but ever since we started doing pizza for Vikings games, pizza has become our go-to throughout the season.
The Super Bowl is streaming for free on Tubi. I love that.
Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal are revisiting the famous deli scene from When Harry Met Sally in a Super Bowl commercial.
What to consider when posting a recipe. This is hilarious, and also the internet is a crazy place.
As of this writing, RFK Jr. has not been confirmed to be Secretary of Health and I hope that doesn’t happen. His charisma is also lost on me. Sadly, I am not sure if he is the scariest of the current administration’s cabinet picks.
I think it’s important not to ignore the unhinged shit happening right now completely. But we have to protect our peace. I heard the term cocooning a while ago, and love the feeling it invokes.

My cats can cocoon with the best of them. 🙂
Have a cozy weekend.
