A new Vikings season is easily my favorite part of the fall season. This season will be interesting. Lots of unknowns, including a new quarterback. Expectations are low, but every year a team surprises everyone. Maybe the Vikings are due. Actually, I know the Vikings are due.
Football season means pizza every weekend. Over the years, I have experimented a lot with the pizza crust. Hubby has been making Poolish pizza dough and it’s scrumptious! I want to try it with some whole wheat flour for my pizza.
In other news, I am craving something pumpkin. Or I guess I should say, something in addition to the Pumpkin Spice Cheerios I have been snaking on in the evenings. 😉
I love all the warm, cozy fall flavors like pumpkin, apple, and cinnamon. Starbucks and Caribou have some glorious menu additions this time of year.
The weather is glorious this weekend! We went to a local outdoor music festival yesterday. Live music is always good.
We saw a place with dill pickle pizza at the state fair. I was really tempted, but the line was long. There were a lot of long lines at the state fair. Record-breaking attendance tends to do that. Now I want a taste of this galette.
No-cook dinners make perfect sense in the heat of summer when you can’t stand the idea of a hot stovetop. Bowls with pre-prepped ingredients make sense when I am short on time.
As someone who owns and just recently rewatched the Twilight series-I am very interested.
