Happy Sunday.
My birthday week! I am not a birthday week person, just the day is fine. Monday is the day. I work that day and we will go for dinner afterward. Right now my plan is sushi. 🙂
This coconut margarita looks delicious.
I started, or more specifically, resurrected, my blog on my birthday four years ago. The pandemic was in full swing, and I needed a creative outlet. It is so much fun.
How to live to 100 years old. Staying active seems to be the common theme for centenarians still living well.
I have been trying to prioritize mobility to help keep myself healthy and feeling good.
How to use a mandolin without needing an ER visit. My method is foolproof, I don’t own a mandolin. Ha. But they would be handy at times. We do have a food processor which does a nice job if thin slices are needed.
We adore avocados, but having them ripe when we need them can be a challenge.
I saved this article to read earlier in the week. Sadly, my enthusiasm was short-lived as JJ McCarthy has since injured his knee and needed season-ending surgery. Oy. But the Vikings still have Justin Jefferson and I loved to see him cheering on his teammates in their first preseason game.
I just finished the new Laci Peterson documentary on Netflix. Anyone who was paying any attention to the media 20 years ago knows the basis of the story. The doc includes interviews with her mom and girlfriends. I thought it was very well done.
Have an awesome weekend.
