Happy weekend.
Yup, it’s pizza season!
Our process hasn’t changed this year. We are still using this amazing pizza dough. There are a few steps, but the process is easy and well worth it. If it’s not broke, don’t fix it. We have been experimenting with pizza dough quite a bit over the years, but I think this method is here to stay.
I like using part whole wheat flour in my pizza dough. The whole wheat gives it a great nutty flavor. Hubby uses all 00 flour for pizza crust that is crisp on the outside but soft and chewy on the inside. Delicious either way.
I am really hoping for a nice stretch of fall days. In other words, not cold and rainy. Other than not having to water my flowers or garden for longer than I can remember, I am not feeling the wet, dreary days.
My Vikings stayed undefeated for another week. The offense is still trying to get going. Meanwhile, they have a wonderful kicker and a great defense to fall back on.
We were sad to see the Lynx go down in the first round of the playoffs. They had a terrific regular season, but it’s easy to forget that with an early playoff exit.
I had just started reading Verity when I heard it was adapted into a movie. According to reviews, the movie closely follows the book. I definitely liked the book; lots of twists and turns. I mentioned the benefits of reading last week and saw yet another article. Brain health and lower risk of dementia? Yes, please!
Have a lovely weekend.
