Happy weekend.
I was looking back at old photos of the girls the other day. I hadn’t shared this one of Bailey from 5 years ago.
This picture of Bella was taken on the same day. So freaking cute!
My photo library is full of cats, as most pet people probably understand. They are always adorable and patient with my attempts to capture their full cuteness.
Bella and Bailey are certainly willing to make their needs known. Bailey is more vocal, and when she wants attention, she wants it now! Bailey is the quieter of the two, but she has found her voice as she gets older. Her squeaky little meows come much more frequently.
Don’t forget to spring forward tonight. The time change always takes a while to get used to. I have been getting up a little later, but still well before the sun. I don’t know that I will ever be able to sleep until sunrise.
I can’t say that I was looking forward to letting myself go, but I remember thinking I just wouldn’t care as much. Trade in my contacts for glasses, quit coloring my hair, and not worry too much about my appearance. But, surprise, I am still wearing contacts and maintaining my light brown hair. I think it’s about liking how you look, whatever that is for you.
I do my best to balance foods that I love and foods that are good for me. This list is full of delicious food that also happens to be heart-healthy.
This heart-shaped cake is adorable! I might have to try that.
