Happy weekend.
The last weekend of football season. I don’t have a strong preference in the Super Bowl. I like both teams.
The end of the football season means an end to our weekend pizza date. Unlike years past, we didn’t switch up the dough recipe this year. We have stuck to the Poolish pizza dough. It is a bit of a project as you start the night before. But it’s easy and so delicious.
Hubby decided to sauté the red onions and ripe bell peppers, very tasty on pizza!
The Winter Olympics start this weekend. We enjoy watching. Skier and Minnesota native, Lindsey Vonn, plans to compete despite tearing her ACL in a practice run. 26 athletes competing in the winter Olympics are Minnesota natives.
This list of winter myths is interesting. I always believed it could be too cold to snow, but recent weather has proved otherwise.
Generally, I try not to nap to help my body sleep at night. But when my sleep is rough, it feels good to close my eyes for half an hour.
Eating healthy doesn’t have to be complicated; enough protein and fiber, veggies, and heart-healthy fats.
The cast of Schitt’s Creek pays tribute to Catherine O’Hara. I need to rewatch that show, it is so freaking good.
