Happy weekend.
Yay for football and pizza season! The Vikings opened their season with an exciting win. After a hideous first half on Monday night, they turned it around and beat the Bears. The Vikings play the Atlanta Falcons in another prime-time game on Sunday night.
Sunday also marks the start of the WNBA playoffs. The Minnesota Lynx are the number one seed and will have home court advantage for their playoff run. I am nervous as their shooting has been off lately. But I have faith.
I caught this adorable grey squirrel checking out my sweet basil and Thai basil plants. He looked like he was considering burying a nut in the soil. Fortunately, he didn’t uproot the plants. They are so cute. 🙂
Speaking of cute, I shared a post earlier this week about the cats. Hubby reminded me that I forgot to mention Bella has a lump on her back between her shoulder blades. It doesn’t seem to bother her. They have a vet appointment coming up soon.
MSG had a bad rap for being unhealthy for years. It is now considered safe and adds great flavor. Now I need to remember to use it.
I hadn’t heard the term dopamine anchoring, but I am a fan. I like the example of grabbing a fun coffee to run boring errands. It’s a great productivity hack.
