Weekend Randoms 4/19/2025

Happy weekend.

I will be in search of snacking peppers when we visit the garden center later this spring. We have done full-size bell peppers for a few years. As the article states, the yield is only a few peppers. Plus, I only want a ripe bell pepper, and they take so long to get ripe. We will be well into fall, and the bell peppers are still green. Snacking peppers sound like a nice option.

Books to read for fans of White Lotus. I love a good mystery. I was happy to find several of these books available on Hoopla.

We aren’t much for Easter, but these eggs are adorable! Likely cheaper than a real egg. They really do look like a robin’s egg.

Okay, this is unexpected. We have always loved a frosted beer glass. But I am the first to admit, I am not a beer snob. Give me a light lager in a cold glass.

The Timberwolves began their playoff run against the Lakers tonight. Every expert is picking the Lakers to win the series. We shall see.

A live stream of a moose migration. Sounds like comfort TV to me.

Last week, I mentioned seeing wildlife around the neighborhood. Right on cue, we had wild turkeys in the backyard! We have seen turkeys over the years. But we typically see mostly females and never a Tom in full display.

Tom turkey looked huge! He was out to impress the ladies. Must be spring. 😉

Have a lovely weekend.
